Footpath 6 Wardlow runs north through Cressbrook Dale past Peter's Stone to the junction of the A623 and B6465 at Wardlow Mires, grid reference SK180755 [map]. You may be aware that a member of the society has submitted an application to Derbyshire County Council for the northern end of this path to be legally defined as passing through the yard of Brookside Farm, rather than along the route which the county council has recently constructed. As part of the evidence that the route through the yard is a public footpath, it would be very helpful to have photographs of the path through the yard and of the stream and wall before the county council installed a bridge over the ditch and a gate in the wall.
