The photos show "before and after" a signpost erected around 1973 by one of our affiliated societies, Sheffield Co-op Ramblers, and refurbished 40 years later on their behalf.

David Morton, PNFS Signpost Officer, writes: I reinstated it in wonderful weather on Mortimer Road, north of Ewden Beck and south of Stocksbridge at grid ref SK23959748.  The Vactan and paint were drying as fast as I painted.
